Meg heath dog training club

"Your dogs behaviour is but a reflection of your standard. If you treat your dog like a human it will treat you like a dog."

Meg Heath Dog Training Club is a Clicker Training Club situated in between Lincoln & Sleaford just off the A15 on the B1202. The club is run by Sarah Gleave also know for my work with Springer Rescue. I run private lessons and have residential training facilities.

Consider the benefits of training at MHDTC.

I work with dogs all day and have done solid for 8 1/2 years. I don't have a part or full time job meaning I don't just 'do dogs' part time or even 'just dog training classes'. I am with dogs, training them and learning about them 24-7. My main jobs entail my Boarding Kennels, Dog Meg Heath Boarding Kennels are stockists of Arden Grange Dog Food.Training; both dog training classes and private lessons & I make dog leads & collars.

I got my first job in kennels in 1996 and have rescued over 150 dogs, mainly Springer's. My first dog vocation was working in training / rescue sourcing, evaluating, caring for and selling dogs to the Police & Prison Service. I would say my forte is teaching the recall, loose lead walking and the common problem of jumping up. I use mainly clicker training, but there are so many other ways to train a dog.

I also specialise in Springer Spaniel training, not Gun Dog training, but your general day to day stuff, especially aggression. I have 20 Springer Spaniels, 4 others including a Sprocker, a Collie Lab, a German Shorthaired Pointer & a Cocker Spaniel. Half of them have problems and 4 of them have aggression problems all of them serious.

I have also studied dogs since 1998. My achievements so far are:

Diploma in Kennel Management
Diploma in Dog Anatomy & Physiology
Diploma in Dog Training & Instruction (current)
Advanced (Level 5) Diploma in Dog Behaviour Modification (current) with a Grade A in Canine Learning Theory
Canine Nutrition
